The Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) Board of School Trustees is inviting community input on the future of the former Herald-Times property on South Walnut Street via an online survey and community forum. The online survey is open now through January 30, 2026.
The community forum will be held on January 29, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Bloomington High School South – Carmichael Auditorium, at 1965 S. Walnut Street. RSVPs are appreciated for planning purposes and can be submitted through the online survey.
MCCSC purchased the property in 2022 for potential future use. As the Board evaluates options for the site, community perspectives will help inform their decision-making.
