Celebrating Scholastic Esports at MCCSC
A ribbon cutting ceremony for Scholastic Esports programs was held on September 17th. Five secondary MCCSC schools opened state of the art arenas for competition and academic study. These programs were made possible by generous support from an Indiana Department of Education 3E grant and the hard work of MCCSC teachers and staff.
An Esports Computer Science Pathway is being offered at Bloomington High School North and Bloomington South. Batchelor Middle School, former Indiana Esports Network State Champion, also offers an Esports production class.
Jackson Creek Middle School, Bloomington Graduation School, The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship, and Tri-North Middle School offer Esports at the club level and have new spaces of their own.
